Session Description:

This session addresses the issues of south-south connections in the aftermath of Bandung, focusing on global intersections, affective borderlands, questions of embodiment, and transnational cultural production. Panelists discuss the politics and poetics of this shifting web of cultural affiliations, highlighted by Richard Wright in his reflections on the historic conference of nonaligned nations.
